Welcome to Liberty Ridge. This design can be used for anything, but it was primarily designed to be used for open source projects, or for a personal webpage of a programmer. This design is loosely based on the design of the Fedora Project website. Liberty Ridge is named after the Liberty Ridge area of Mount Rainier. Enjoy!
Standards Compliant
Liberty Ridge is fully compliant with all XHTML and CSS standards. It validates as valid XHTML 1.1.
No Tables
No tables are used in Liberty Ridge. All elements of the layout are created using XHTML and CSS. I strongly believe that tables should only be used for their intended use, displaying tabular data. Tables should never be used for purposes such as creating the layout of a website. This allows for a much faster load time, cleaner webpage, better overall appearance, and allows the webpage to work exactly the same in all broswers.
Browsers
Liberty Ridge has been tested in many different broswers, and displays fine in all of them. Browsers supported include, but are not limited to:
- Internet Explorer
- Mozilla
- Konqueror
- Firefox
Liberty Ridge can even be viewed in text only browsers, such as lynx!
Resizeable
Regardless of your resolution, or the size of your web broswer, Liberty Ridge will still display perfectly. It has been tested with many different resolutions. It will resize flawlessly.
