Mediatemple review
After the bad experience with canaca, now I'm using mediatemple (mt). It used to be a very expensive host, but now they are offering hosting plans for multiple sites at good prices.
Mediatemple.net offers three different hosting services.
(ss) Shared Server
The entry level plan at 7.95mo. to host 5 sites, comes with 2GB of disk space and 30GB of data transfer. This is the one I have contracted.
They have another entry level plan at 14.95mo. to host 20 sites, offers 5GB of disk space and 75GB of bandwith.
(dv) Dedicated Virtual
They offer 3 virtual dedicated server plans: (dv) Standard 49.95mo., (dv) PHP Performance 69.95mo. and (dv) ColdFusion Server 69.95mo.
(ds) Dedicated Server
Here they have two offers a Linux Hosting with RedHat Enterprise Linux for 495.00mo. and a Windows Server with Microsoft Windows 2003 for 575.00mo.
I haven't had any trouble with them yet.

The shared plans seem affordable, I'm really considering to change hosts to mediatemple. The only thing I didn't liked when I visited their site was that they require the flash plug-in to actually enter the site, not a very good approach.
Apart from this: The Real MT
Every month or so, they are suppose to be this company that is "da shit" how come we see this every month or 2? I wouldnt say so.
Is the "Why are we offline again?" a link? That message is really strange. Thanks for letting us know about your issues with this company.
